As a Production Manager, you will lead and manage all production and assembly operations at the Brasov site, building and mentoring high-performing teams during the ramp-up phase. You will ensure production targets, quality standards, and delivery commitments are met, while driving continuous improvement in safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency. Collaborating with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, and Program Management, you will establish KPIs, optimize workflows, and support the scaling of operations for mission-critical drone systems.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all production and assembly operations at the Brasov site.
  • Build, develop, and mentor high-performing production teams during the site's ramp-up phase.
  • Ensure production targets, quality standards, and delivery commitments are achieved.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency.
  • Monitor and optimize production workflows, resource utilization, and capacity planning.
  • Collaborate closely with Supply Chain and Material Planning teams to ensure material availability and uninterrupted production.
  • Work with Engineering teams to support product industrialization and manufacturing readiness.
  • Establish and maintain production KPIs, dashboards, and performance reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective actions for production-related issues.
  • Support workforce planning, shift organization, and operational scaling activities.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and operational excellence throughout the organization.
  • Contribute to the development of manufacturing strategies supporting future growth and production expansion.

Requirements

  • Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management, or a related technical field.
  • Several years of experience in production management within manufacturing, aerospace, defense, automotive, electronics, or similar industries.
  • Proven leadership experience managing production teams in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of assembly operations, production planning, manufacturing processes, and operational performance management.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or similar continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Knowledge of quality management principles and production-related compliance requirements.
  • Experience with ERP systems and production reporting tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform effectively in a dynamic growth environment.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing scale-up, industrialization, or greenfield operations is highly desirable.
  • Professional fluency in English.
