As a Team Lead Production, you will be a key part of our Production & Assembly Team, supporting the local manufacturing of advanced drone systems in Romania. You will lead assembly teams, drive operational excellence, and ensure the successful delivery of mission-critical systems deployed across Europe and Ukraine. Working closely with stakeholders from Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Production Planning, you will ensure efficient assembly operations and high-quality production output.
Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and coordinate assembly technicians and production personnel on a daily basis.
- Supervise assembly operations and ensure production plans and priorities are executed efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with assembly procedures, work instructions, technical documentation, and quality standards.
- Monitor production output and support the achievement of daily, weekly, and monthly production targets.
- Identify production bottlenecks, quality issues, and process inefficiencies, implementing corrective actions where required.
- Coordinate closely with Quality Control, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing teams to resolve operational challenges.
- Support workforce planning, task allocation, and shift coordination activities.
- Train, coach, and develop assembly technicians while fostering continuous skill development.
- Support onboarding and qualification of new production employees.
- Ensure production documentation and manufacturing records are accurately maintained.
- Promote a strong culture of safety, quality, accountability, and teamwork.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, efficiency, and product quality.
- Escalate operational risks and support root cause analysis activities when production issues occur.
Requirements
- Technical education or degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, assembly, or production environments.
- Initial leadership or supervisory experience within a production or assembly team.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production workflows, and quality standards.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and assembly documentation.
- Experience working in aerospace, defense, automotive, electronics, or similar manufacturing industries is an advantage.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Hands-on mentality with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Professional fluency in English.
