As a Team Lead Production, you will be a key part of our Production & Assembly Team, supporting the local manufacturing of advanced drone systems in Romania. You will lead assembly teams, drive operational excellence, and ensure the successful delivery of mission-critical systems deployed across Europe and Ukraine. Working closely with stakeholders from Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Production Planning, you will ensure efficient assembly operations and high-quality production output.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate, and coordinate assembly technicians and production personnel on a daily basis.
  • Supervise assembly operations and ensure production plans and priorities are executed efficiently.
  • Ensure compliance with assembly procedures, work instructions, technical documentation, and quality standards.
  • Monitor production output and support the achievement of daily, weekly, and monthly production targets.
  • Identify production bottlenecks, quality issues, and process inefficiencies, implementing corrective actions where required.
  • Coordinate closely with Quality Control, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing teams to resolve operational challenges.
  • Support workforce planning, task allocation, and shift coordination activities.
  • Train, coach, and develop assembly technicians while fostering continuous skill development.
  • Support onboarding and qualification of new production employees.
  • Ensure production documentation and manufacturing records are accurately maintained.
  • Promote a strong culture of safety, quality, accountability, and teamwork.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, efficiency, and product quality.
  • Escalate operational risks and support root cause analysis activities when production issues occur.

Requirements

  • Technical education or degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, assembly, or production environments.
  • Initial leadership or supervisory experience within a production or assembly team.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production workflows, and quality standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and assembly documentation.
  • Experience working in aerospace, defense, automotive, electronics, or similar manufacturing industries is an advantage.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Hands-on mentality with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Professional fluency in English.
