As Production Team Lead, you will lead a team of production operators on the shop floor, driving output, quality, and continuous improvement as the company ramps toward volume production. You will plan and sustain output at rate, solve root-cause problems, and coordinate across engineering, quality, and supply chain to remove blockers. You will also work with production tracking/ERP/MES systems and technical drawings to keep the floor running smoothly, and flex across shifts and sites as needed.

Responsibilities

  • You lead and motivate a team of production operators, training, coaching, and managing performance day to day
  • You plan, ramp, and sustain output at rate across series/volume production
  • You drive root-cause problem solving and hold the line to quality standards
  • You work with production tracking/ERP/MES systems and technical drawings/work instructions to keep the floor running smoothly
  • You coordinate across departments, engineering, quality, supply chain to remove blockers
  • You flex across Shifts and Sites as the production/ Business needs requires

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Team Leader, Line Leader, Shift Supervisor, or similar role in a production/manufacturing line environment, ideally in electronics, aerospace, automotive, defense, or similar high-precision industries
  • Demonstrated experience with series/volume production , planning, ramping, and sustaining output at rate
  • Practical knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools (5S, standard work, kaizen, takt time, line balancing)
  • Experience leading and motivating a team of production operators, including training and performance management
  • Working knowledge of quality systems and root-cause problem solving
  • Comfortable working with production tracking/ERP/MES systems and reading technical drawings/work instructions
  • Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate across departments
  • Flexibility to work shifts as required by production schedules

Nice to have

  • Background in drone/UAV, aerospace, avionics, or precision electronics assembly
  • Experience with electro-mechanical assembly, wiring harnesses, or composite structures
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality systems
  • Exposure to production ramp-up or new facility start-up environments
  • Experience with ESD-sensitive and FOD-controlled environments
