STUDENT- Park Productions: Drone Squad Staff

Drone Squad Staff members are hired to perform aerial video and photography work for internal and external clients. Work is project-based, with assignments made based on experience, portfolio, and availability. Staff with Part 107 certification may pilot drones, while others support roles such as ground camera operators, control room operators, directors, graphics creators, and on-air talent.

Responsibilities

• Drone Squad Staff members may be hired to do aerial video & photography work for internal IC clients, as well as for external clients. This work is project-based, so there is no guarantee of a certain number of hours or projects per semester. Assignments will be made based on students' experience, portfolio, and availability as projects arise.
• Drone Squad Staff members who have obtained a Part 107 certification may be hired as drone pilots. DS Staff members who do not have a valid Part 107 certification may perform support roles on paid projects, including the roles of ground camera operators, control room operators, directors, graphics creators, on-air talent, and other crew as needed.

Requirements

• Please provide a resumé and a cover letter that includes why you are interested in joining the Drone Squad, whether or not you have a Part 107 certification, what types of production roles you are interested in, and what experience you have in those types of roles.
