RF Integration Specialist (m/f/d)

As an RF Integration Specialist, you take both architectural and hands-on responsibility for the physical RF layer of our communication and sensing systems, ensuring robust, reliable, and production-ready RF performance. You own the selection, integration, and optimization of antenna systems for airborne and ground platforms, evaluate antenna placement, support frequency conversion beyond 30 GHz, and integrate RF amplifiers and front-end components. You guide RF frontend hardware designs, collaborate with signal processing and RF application teams, and validate performance through measurements and system-level testing.

Responsibilities

• Own the selection, integration, and optimization of antenna systems for airborne and ground platforms
• Evaluate and optimize antenna placement and system-level RF performance
• Support frequency up- and down-conversion for sensing applications beyond 30 GHz
• Select, integrate, and tune RF amplifiers and front-end components
• Guide and review RF frontend hardware designs
• Collaborate closely with signal processing and RF application teams
• Validate RF performance through measurements and system-level testing

Requirements

• Master’s degree or equivalent in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• 5+ years of experience in RF hardware integration
• Deep expertise in antenna systems and RF frontends
• Experience with antenna optimization and performance analysis
• Strong system-level understanding of RF behavior in real-world environments
• Coding experience for analysis (e.g. Pyhton, Matlab) and application development (e.g. C++, Rust)
• Hands-on, ownership-driven working style

Nice to have

• Experience with mmWave systems
• Experience with airborne or mobile RF platforms
