Due Diligence Partners, a leading due diligence firm specializing in manufactured housing communities and RV parks, is seeking a hands-on, tech-savvy Property Inspector to join our growing field team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in construction, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, roofing, carpentry, mechanics, property inspection, utilities, or other skilled trades who enjoys working independently and traveling.
You’ll inspect properties across the United States and document conditions that help investors make informed, multi-million-dollar acquisition decisions.
How the Pay & Travel Schedule Works
This isn’t a traditional 9-to-5 position.
- Your salary covers 26 weeks of travel per year and is paid throughout the entire year.
- You will commit to a minimum of 30 travel weeks annually.
- Every travel week beyond 26 earns additional weekly pay.

What You’ll Do
As a Property Inspector, you’ll serve as our eyes on the ground during real estate acquisitions. Your responsibilities will include:
- Inspect manufactured housing and RV communities throughout the U.S.
- Walk properties and document physical conditions and deficiencies.
- Evaluate roads, drainage, water, sewer, electrical systems, structures, amenities, and common areas.
- Validate property and lot maps, including occupied and vacant sites.
- Capture detailed, geotagged property photos.
- Conduct drone mapping missions and 360° camera surveys.
- Photograph entrances, amenities, mailboxes, buildings, and other property assets.
- Upload inspection data, photos, drone footage, and reports using cloud-based technology.
- Communicate professionally with property managers and on-site personnel.
Travel Expectations
This is a high-travel field position based in the Dallas–Fort Worth metro area.
- Minimum 30 travel weeks per year, with opportunities for additional travel.
- Trips may include multiple properties and locations.
- Some assignments may be scheduled on short notice.
- Flights, hotels, and rental cars are booked and paid for by the company.
- Daily meal per diem provided at federal GSA rates.

What We’re Looking For
We’re especially interested in candidates with hands-on experience in:

Successful candidates will also be:
- Comfortable using mobile apps, cameras, mapping tools, and cloud-based software.
- Self-directed, organized, dependable, and able to work independently.
- Comfortable working outdoors for extended periods.
- Professional when interacting with clients, property managers, and site personnel.
- Willing and able to travel extensively throughout the United States.
- Located in the Dallas–Fort Worth metro area.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Obtain an FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate within 45 days of hire. Study materials are provided, and the test fee is reimbursed upon passing.
- Ability to walk large properties and uneven terrain for extended periods.
- Ability to work outdoors in heat and varying weather conditions.
- Ability to carry approximately 25 lbs. of field equipment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Property, home, construction, insurance, utility, or field inspection experience.
- Manufactured housing, RV park, property management, or real estate experience.
- Current FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate.
- Experience with inspection, mapping, or reporting platforms such as Spectora or DroneDeploy.
