Survey Crew Member

TRC is seeking a survey crew member to join its Cary, North Carolina Land Survey Team. The role involves working in a survey crew to map infrastructure such as roads, buildings, and utilities using a wide array of equipment and technology, with on-the-job training provided. Work duties are 95% outdoors with exposure to vehicle traffic, sun, and varying environmental conditions. The individual must be able to perform each essential duty meeting external and internal client expectations.

Responsibilities

• Willing and able to learn how to use different types of mapping equipment including robots, GPS receivers, digital data collectors, UAS “Drones”, Terrestrial LiDAR scanning, ground penetrating radar, electromagnetic detection instruments and vacuum excavation truck.
• Willing to work outside year-round in heat and cold.
• Willing to work 7:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday – Friday.
• Prioritize Safety.

• Reliable.

Requirements

• 0-2 years of combined surveying and mapping experience.
• Must be knowledgeable in the methods and techniques of cross-country pipeline surveying. Must have knowledge in the various surveying methods and electronic data collection.
• Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
