As an Electronics & Mechatronic Assembly Technician at TYTAN, you will build and integrate the physical systems at the core of our autonomous air defense platforms. You will work from wiring diagrams and technical drawings to assemble cable harnesses, terminate connectors, and perform mechanical assembly, ensuring high quality and traceability. You will also test and validate your work using multimeters and other equipment, and troubleshoot issues using schematics. This role is essential to turning designs into hardware that flies, supporting our mission to protect people and critical infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • You build wiring harnesses, solder and crimp connections, and terminate connectors to exacting quality standards
  • You read and work from wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical drawings to guide assembly and troubleshooting
  • You perform mechanical assembly, fastening, fitting, torque-controlled tool use as part of full system integration
  • You test and validate your work using multimeters and other test/measurement equipment
  • You follow detailed work instructions and maintain the quality and traceability standards our mission demands
  • You troubleshoot and fault-find using schematics when something doesn't check out
  • You work as part of a team where reliability and precision aren't optional but they're the standard

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training/apprenticeship as Elektroniker, Mechatroniker, or equivalent qualification (or comparable practical experience)
  • Solid understanding of electrical/electronic assembly: wiring, soldering, crimping, cable harness work, connector termination
  • Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical drawings
  • Basic mechanical assembly skills (fastening, fitting, use of hand and power tools, torque control)
  • Experience using multimeters and basic test/measurement equipment
  • Comfortable working to detailed work instructions and quality/traceability requirements
  • Team player, reliable, quality- and safety-conscious
  • Troubleshooting skills using schematics for fault-finding

Nice to have

  • Experience in aerospace, automotive, defense, or electronics manufacturing
  • Experience with both electronics assembly and mechanical/mechatronic integration (not just one discipline)
  • Familiarity with PCB-level work, connector systems
  • Exposure to ground support equipment, power electronics, or control/communication systems
  • Experience working in a series/high-rate production environment
  • Soldering experience/certification
